XTERRA CURT GOWDY & OTHER THINGS

This update is long overdue.  Sorry folks for the delay.  Over the weekend of June 20th I traveled to Laramie/Cheyenne Wyoming for Xterra Curt Gowdy.  It was also a special weekend for me, because it was the first Father's Day I have been able to spend with my amazing daughter since she was 2 years old.  Needless to say, I was thrilled to have my #1 fan there with me.

RACE REPORT - XTERRA SOUTHEAST CHAMPIONSHIP/USAT OFF-ROAD TRI NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

My next stop this season was Pelham, Alabama for the Xterra Southeast Championship.  As an amateur, we must qualify for Xterra National Championships and the various World Championships (Xterra, ITU). This race offered an opportunity to test my skills against some new competition and qualify for the 2016 ITU Cross Triathlon World Championships.

LET THE FUN BEGIN!

It's been a bit since my last post.  During the time that has elapsed, I have trained a ton, got sick, crashed and competed in my first Xterra of the season.  Below is a detailed account of these events.

PROGRESS AND SUCH

So, things are progressing well.  My 2015 Tri Kit has been finalized, thanks to Epix Custom Gear, and will arrive any day now. It looks fantastic, and I can't wait for the first triathlon (see the schedule tab).
